How did you originally get involved in the sport?
I was a Pole Vaulter and did some lifting as part of my strength & conditioning. My weightlifting coach Keith Morgan convinced me to change sports.
What do you enjoy most about weightlifting?
It pushes you both mentally & physically to your absolute limits
What is the best competition you have competed in so far and why?
Hard to say, but probably CWG 2018 when I won a Gold medal. Having my family there was unbelievable. It took 10 years to win an international medal.
What are your long-term sporting goals?
None I am taking each day as it comes.
What is your main motivation?
To persevere no matter what.
What music / artists do you like listening to?
I had a playlist called ‘Weightlifting Bangers’ with all sorts.
